(An eIephant's very large heart beats about 25 times a minute.)
The heart has to keep beating for you to stay alive. Why is it so? Because the heart is the muscle that pumps life-giving blood throughout the body,a|l day, every day,from the timea baby is in its mother‘s womb until the time a person dies.The body requires blood to run through all its parts, in order to function as a living being.
